Balaclava Deck

In 1854, during the Battle of Balaclava, due to a misunderstood order, the British Light Brigade was ordered to charge into a well-fortified Russian artillery battery. The courageous cavalrymen were crushed in their attempt to achieve an impossible goal. The battle represents speed, courage and discipline on the part of the cavalrymen; and incompetence, ineptitude and pettiness on the part of the leaders.
